Okie “Luau”
Oklahoma has many facets of culture and tradition, some of which may not necessarily need to be shared with the whole world!  2007 Winter Creek Reunion afforded Dana Hamilton with David and Cara Lindsey the ability to let their hair down (wasn’t theirs to start with).  They chose to convey their idea of a Hawaiian luau.  The pork roast consisted of fresh roasted wieners.  Their grass skirts were made of fresh cut hay.  There were coconut support devises with nothing to support.  Nuts galore and fruits beyond pineapples shined like a harvest moon and fun was had by all.  It was the perfect example of an evening of fun and music in the dulcimer world you could not have paid thousands to participate anywhere else.  Where were YOU?
