No, that’s not one of my unknown children!
Someone once asked what that green fruit is hanging in the trees in the campground at Sawdust Festival.  Well, I never thought about horse apples as fruit but I reckon it is.  And I never thought of using them for sculpting.  This piece of art was crafted by Carolyn Pope from Colorado (they ran the campground for us every year of the festival) who likened it to a friend from California, Lynn Newby (whose wife, Toni builds the best apple pie ever).  The glasses really make it accurate.
