The Reids, again!
These guys are proud as can be and we’re proud of them.  With the dulcibanjo is Joseph.  With the bowed psaltery is Jay.  With the mountain dulcimer is Jeffrey.  And with the hammer dulcimer is James.  We added dampers to his instrument a couple of years ago.  I am so excited when youth take more than an interest in these and other folk instruments and pursue excellence in their music.  It is commonly known how great the benefit is for them when music and the arts are included in their everyday lives – dramatic improvements in IQ, math, memory and discipline not to mention their self confidence and joy in life.  I am so lucky to be able to look back at all the folks, but especially the youth, that we at Master Works, Wood ‘N Strings and Merla and I personally have been able to support and encourage in their musical endeavors, especially on the dulcimer.  (See # 79 84, 8, 59, 105,
